The Mallard - “Old Hates Tatesale”

Garage rock so garbled the reverb-soaked vocals stay just out of reach but damn is it pretty.  Pretty like the rainbow of an oil slick on a dirty garage floor.  Just how I want my lo-fi - filthy and with a few sparkly jagged edges.

I liked this a lot, so I went to her myspace and must also add that she plays drums with both of her feet while playing guitar standing up. I dig. Here’s a live video:
